As PhD candidate and recipient of RMIT University's Scholarship in Creative Practices for Transformational Futures, I am conducting research in affiliation with the EU Horizon 2020 CreaTures research project. CreaTures (Creative Practices for Transformational Futures) is a three year project (2020-22) which aims to deepen understanding of the transformational qualities of creative practices and their contribution towards futures of socio-ecological sustainabiilty.

Museums Victoria is Australia’s largest public museum organisation, presenting exhibitions at three major venues: Melbourne Museum, the Immigration Museum and Scienceworks.

As Producer, my role was to lead the creative development and production of major exhibition projects and associated programs at the Melbourne Museum. Projects included the multimillion dollar redevelopment of long term exhibitions and galleries. My role also saw me leading culture change initiatives across MV’s Exhibitions department and the wider organisation, including leading the design and development of collaborative working spaces and processes, and building organisational innovation and foresight capacity.

Key highlights included:
-  Leading an interdisciplinary team involving designers, experience developers, curators and production team
-  Development of creative vision and future-focused strategy around major redevelopment projects
-  Development of new iterative and collaborative processes for exhibition development
-  Launching a series of innovation labs to foster inter-disciplinary collaboration between project teams, internal staff and external creative technologists, designers and artists.
-  Stakeholder management: building relationships and developing communications strategies to manage large internal and external stakeholder groups.
-  Launching large-scale community and public engagement events to support the project development process
- Strategy and development of whole-of-site gallery masterplanning frameworks and approaches

Somerset House is a major cultural centre in the heart of London.

I worked with Somerset House as creative producer on their major 2015 Winter show: Big Bang Data. Big Bang Data is one of the UK’s first major surveys of artist works investigating the cultural, social and ethical implications of big data.

For Big Bang Data I produced new sections of the exhibition, including the London Situation Room - a section presenting a range of new, interactive artworks that draw upon live London data feeds. I was also responsible for the commissioning, scoping and production development on a range of new artist commissions.

Thick is a service design and UX agency with a focus on health, education, the environment and public service.

I joined Thick to develop and produce their diverse range of visual communication, digital design, research and strategy projects. In 6 months I worked with Thick I produced and delivered projects for a range of clients including: the City of Melbourne, Deakin University, the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade, the Nature Conservancy and VicRoads.

The Barbican is Europe's largest multi-arts and conference venue presenting a diverse range of art, music, theatre, dance, film and creative learning events.

I worked with the Barbican on the technical logistics and install of their 2014 Summer show: Digital Revolution.

Digital Revolution was the most comprehensive presentation of digital creativity ever to be staged in the UK and was a sell-out exhibition during its season at the Barbican Centre.

Tactile is an interdisciplinary arts lab and interactive studio. We work with a range of artists and arts organisations to create digital and interactive projects of all shapes and sizes.

One of the most recent projects I've produced through Tactile is HEARTFELT:  a reimagining of a Beethoven string quartet that combines live performance with robotics and interactive lighting. HEARTFELT premiered at the Village Underground, London in June 2015 as a part of the Spitalfields Summer Festival 2015 and toured to the Bristol Proms and the Lichfield Festival also.

Creative Director & Producer

At Touch Press I was brought on as Producer to define and develop a new iPad title. Working with Touch Press' creative partners and managing a production, engineering and design team, I produced new project prototypes, detailed project specifications, created budgets and carried out feasibility studies.

As a freelance Digital Producer, I have worked on a diverse range of interactive and digital projects. Clients have included the Barbican Centre, international artist agency Intermusica, the Philharmonia Orchestra and 59 Productions.

As an independent producer I have also been invited to participate in a range of arts and technology labs including music/ technology lab 'Hack the Quartet' run by Bristol's Watershed. I was also invited to workshop and present interactive projects at the International Documentary Festival of Amsterdam as a part of their 2013 DocLab.

Digital Producer

As the Digital Producer for the Philharmonia Orchestra I produced and project managed new digital projects including interactive digital installations, film and online projects.

Key projects included:

-  Producing the Orchestra’s new digital interactive installation, 'Universe of Sound', which premiered at the Science Museum as part of the London 2012 Festival. A 34-channel digital installation with
kinect-based interactivity, this was a large and exciting project which presented many technical and logistical challenges across the production, post-production and installation stages.

- Universe of Sound' was awarded a 2013 RPS Music Award in the Audiences and Engagement category.

Philharmonia Orchestra

Whilst employed as Digital Producer for the Philharmonia Orchestra, I was also engaged as the Producer for the Philharmonia’s production company, Rite Digital. In this role I produced, project managed and toured our digital installation projects internationally, alongside producing new film, online and cross-platform projects for external clients.

Key projects included:

-  Producing 'The Orchestra for iPad' app for Rite Digital/ Philharmonia Orchestra.
Produced in partnership with Touch Press and Music Sales, The Orchestra for iPad is a content-rich app that explores the history of orchestral music through high quality video and audio recordings combined with a unique and innovative user interface.

Released in December, 2012, The Orchestra for iPad was named as The Telegraph's 'iOS App of The Year, 2012' and was nominated as one of The Observer's '25 Best Apps of 2012'.

-  Project management and international touring of award-winning digital installation, 'Re-Rite', to Germany, Austria, China and Turkey. On these projects I oversaw the exhibition’s layout and design, and managed the project’s installation, day-to-day running and de-rigging in a range of diverse venues: from galleries to theatre spaces and warehouses.
