Ana Peredo
Ana Peredo is a dedicated bioengineering Ph.D. student with a passion for developing regenerative therapies for intervertebral disc herniations. She is a member of the prestigious Mauck Lab of McKay Orthopaedic Research Labs at the University of Pennsylvania, where she conducts cutting-edge research with human induced pluripotent stem cells. Ana holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and is fervently committed to advancing the fields of bioengineering and regenerative medicine. Alongside her studies, she has served as a graduate teaching assistant, a Wharton Impact Venture Associate at The Wharton School, and a Qed Venture Proof-of-Concept Program Fellow. Ana has a strong track record of volunteerism, from serving as a teaching assistant for the Veterans Upward Bound Program to conducting molecular and cellular biology research at UC Santa Barbara. She was also a research assistant at the Gaborski Nanobio Device Lab and an undergraduate teaching assistant at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
