Amy Woodman

Amy Woodman is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in education, curriculum development, research, and program management. She holds a Master's degree in Education Policy from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Journalism with minors in Literature and Philosophy from Point Loma Nazarene University. In addition, she has completed specialized studies in Front End Web Development at General Assembly and a Nanodegree in UX Research & Design at Udacity.

Through her career, Amy has held key positions in various organizations, showcasing her expertise in the field. She currently serves as the Curriculum Development Manager at Code.org. Previously, she has been a Board Member at STEM to the Future, Head Of Research And Development, Director Of Programs at 9 Dots, Teacher Engagement Lead at Teach Plus, and Policy Analyst at Leadership for Educational Equity, among other roles. Her experience also includes teaching positions, such as 6-8 grade ELA, Hawaiian History, and Computer Science Teacher at Voyager public charter school, English Teacher, ESL Teacher, Journalism Teacher at Cesar Chavez Academy High School, and Corps Member at Teach For America. She has also been instrumental in co-founding and serving as the Executive Director of Programs at DETROIT FOOD & ENTREPRENEURSHIP ACADEMY.
