Amy Eagle is a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience in building and leading high-growth businesses. With over 10 years in the CEO role, she has a track record of raising capital, building exceptional teams, negotiating innovative business deals, executing effectively, and driving shareholder value. Amy is a Limited Partner in the Longevity Fund, which invests in gene editing, small molecule therapeutics, and novel methods to treat disease.
With a PhD in Machine Learning from the Media Lab at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Amy also holds multiple degrees in engineering from Stanford University, including an MS in Electrical Engineering, an MS in Management Science and Engineering, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering. She has worked in various roles at several organizations, such as Chief Financial Officer at Backupify and EXOS, Director of Finance at Anaqua and Market Analyst at NETC. Amy was also previously co-founder and CEO at Compt, COO at Bedrock Data, Chief Financial Officer at Jana, and an advisor at AirFox and TeachersConnect, respectively.
An experienced speaker and mentor, Amy is passionate about entrepreneurship, technology, and finding innovative solutions to social challenges. She is a lifelong learner and seeker of new experiences, having been ordained as a monk in a temple in northern Thailand and currently experimenting with CRISPR/Cas9 technology in her living room's makeshift wet lab with her young sons.
