Amy Shebar is an experienced public policy and programming professional with a passion for promoting mental health awareness and de-stigmatizing therapy. She holds a master's degree in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy, along with a degree in Political Science and Government from Northeastern University and a degree in Urban Studies and Political Science from Barnard College. She is also a certified Core Energy Coach from iPEC Coaching.

Amy's professional experience includes serving as the Associate Executive Director at the NEIGHBORHOOD INITIATIVES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION and as the Deputy Director of Elementary Programs for COMPASS NYC at NYC Department of Youth & Community Development. She also previously held positions as a Program Manager for Out-of-School Time Programming and as a Correspondence and Research Assistant at the same department. In addition, she has served as a Field Supervisor and Member of the Education Task Force for SYEP and as a Graduate Policy Consultant at The New School. She began her career as a Special Events and Development Intern at Susan G. Komen for the Cure - Greater NYC Affiliate.

With a goal of decreasing social and cultural tensions and increasing a sense of shared responsibility for each other, Amy leverages her expertise and skills to create positive policy changes and programs, especially for mental health. Her experience in leadership and project management makes her an asset in any organization working towards similar goals.
