Education and Early Career
Amy Pitelka graduated from Harvard Law School and began her career practicing international private equity mergers and acquisitions law at Kirkland & Ellis in London and later in San Francisco.2
Professional Experience
- Kirkland & Ellis: Corporate associate focusing on cross-border transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
- Google and Dropbox: Served as product, commercial, and corporate counsel. At Google, she worked with ads, travel, and Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) teams. At Dropbox, she was involved in product counseling, negotiations, and corporate deals, including leading Dropbox’s largest acquisition.2
- U.S. Digital Service (USDS) at the White House: She was the first practicing tech lawyer at USDS, where she developed legal policies, agreement templates, and systematized legal analyses. She also served as the Acting Deputy Administrator.2
