Amy Mendel is an accomplished professional in the legal field, holding a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School and a Sc.B. degree from Brown University.

With a well-rounded educational background, including studies at Noble & Greenough School and Maine Coast Semester, Amy has developed a strong foundation for her career.

Currently, Amy serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Vor Biopharma, bringing her expertise to the helm of legal affairs within the organization.

Prior to her role at Vor Biopharma, Amy held the position of Interim Head of Legal at the same company, showcasing her versatility and leadership abilities.

Amy's experience extends to various notable positions in the life sciences industry, having served as a Legal Consultant for Early Stage Life Science Companies, SVP of IP at Ohana Biosciences, Inc., and Evelo Biosciences, among others.

Her expertise in intellectual property (IP) law is evident from her roles as Vice President and Associate General Counsel for IP & Licensing at Ziopharm Oncology, Associate General Counsel for IP & Licensing at Forest Laboratories (now Allergan), and at Trovis Pharmaceuticals, LLC, a subsidiary of Clinical Data, Inc.

Amy's legal acumen is further demonstrated through her experience as a Patent Attorney at Greenberg Traurig and as an Associate & Patent Agent at Wolf Greenfield, showcasing her proficiency in IP strategy and legal counsel.
