Amy Loar

Amy Loar is a dedicated non-profit professional with a strong passion for strengthening communities and promoting awareness and opportunities for all individuals.

Amy's expertise lies in developing strategic visions and plans for both existing and new programs to address various challenges in society.

She excels in creating connections that drive positive change and innovative solutions to complex issues.

Amy's educational background includes a B.A. in Government & Psychology and a Master's in Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin, along with studies at the U.S. Capitol Page School.

Throughout her career, Amy has held key leadership roles in organizations such as Generation SERVE, Austin Diaper Bank, Ascend Center for Learning (formerly The Austin Academy), Dionysus Theatre, Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston, and more.

She has also served as a Co-Chair at the LBJ School, a Program Director at Texas Appleseed, and an Executive Committee Member at Austin Women's Political, showcasing her diverse skill set and experience.

In addition, Amy has volunteered as a Mentor at Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Texas, highlighting her commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
