Amy Lin

Amy Lin is a data-driven UX researcher with experience in creating beautiful and functional products. With a background in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of Washington, Lin developed problem-solving skills and a passion for people's interactions with products. She went on to study User Experience Design at General Assembly and Post Bachelor, Pre-Pharmacy Studies at Oregon State University.

Lin has worked as a UX Designer at Tawkify, an online dating website that uses data and personal matchmaking to help people date smarter. She has also served as a UX Designer at Servpal, a rent-a-service platform that connects customers with home service providers. Additionally, Lin worked as a UX consultant at Noonswoon, an online dating app that matches users based on common interests and values.

As a UX designer, Lin emphasizes the importance of designing with both customer intent and business needs in mind. She is skilled at communicating with developers, stakeholders, and users to ideate, iterate, and build products. Her creative tools range from Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch3, HTML to CSS. With experience in pharmacy and the medical sciences, Lin has developed skills in working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
