xBK is a centralized trading utility for BNY Mellon Investment Management, providing a fiduciary buyside trading desk for Mellon Investments and a supplemental execution capability for internal boutiques.  

In 2018, Standish, The Boston Company and Mellon Capital were combined to create Mellon Investments, a $550b+ asset manager. Their three legacy trading desks were merged and the new entity was renamed xBK.   

Post merger, I was both the Head of xBK and also the Business Manager for the Fixed Income division. In my role I helped to unify three disparate boutique investment management businesses into a single entity with a common structure, technology platforms and culture.

Head of xBK & Head of Trading

Served in a senior executive capacity to achieve business objectives and deliver firm wide initiatives. Responsible for a team of 75 people spanning trading, vendor management, business intelligence, risk management and portfolio implementation. Worked on strategic planning, business continuity, process optimization and policy development.

Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)/ Business Manager

Managed global trading team through major transformation in policies, procedures, workflows and reporting. Oversaw day to day execution across all fixed income, derivative, foreign exchange and cash sectors. Worked closely with portfolio managers, the technology team and operations to simplify and automate workflows. Responsible for broker relationships, communication with regulators and client meetings.
