As a Communications Officer at Yale Engineering, I am responsible for the strategic communication efforts including strategy, researching, designing, writing, and producing a wide range of content for the school in order to highlight our faculty, staff, students and alumni  with their impactful stories, research, activities, initiatives, and achievements. 
Key Capabilities & Job Duties include:
•	Creative Direction: Leading projects such complete website redesign, magazine redesign, brand rollout, events, printed materials, social media, digital and all other Yale Engineering communications coming from the school.
•	Graphic design: I utilize Adobe Creative Suite. Other programs I use daily include Microsoft Platforms, Monday.com, Slack, Loomly, Figma, Google, Zoom,  and more.
•	Strategic Planning and Storytelling: Communicate complex concepts and identify engaging content. Generate creative ideas, plan, execute and deliver projects. Plan writing and budgeting. 
•	Social Media Management: Expertise in platforms and management thereof, creating unique content, strategically scheduling, collaborative posts, photography, writing, reporting and conducting outreach to collect and curate stories. Reporting and metrics. 
•	Project Leadership: Providing effective leadership, problem-solving, resource management, and leading the incorporation of Yale Engineering’s brand identity into content. Contributing daily to solving communications challenges, supporting planning efforts, and evaluating communication strategies. Hiring and managing outside agencies. 
•	Brand Ambassador: Ensuring that all faculty and staff are adhering to Brand Guidelines, updating and editing Guidelines as neccessary.

In my role as the Director of Marketing & Creative Services at Goetze Candy Co., Inc., I held a comprehensive portfolio of responsibilities. Not only did I enhance brand visibility and foster meaningful online customer engagement, but I also led in creating and managing the strategic marketing plan and budget. Through marketing and strategic advertising refinements, I not only boosted brand awareness but also had a positive impact on sales. I directed five external partners and agencies, steering both the creative and strategic direction. My oversight spanned from package design to digital initiatives, public relations, website development, trade show booth, promotional items, brand style guidelines, advertising campaigns, and press releases, and much more. This holistic approach allowed us to optimize our marketing efforts, expanding our brand's reach and recognition. My commitment to our company's core values ensured effective communication with all stakeholders, which, in turn, expanded our media coverage.

In addition to these roles and responsibilities, I played a pivotal role in shaping some of the foundational elements of the company. This included crafting the company's first mission and vision statements, defining the five pillars that underpin our organization, introduced and promoted diversity, equity, accessibility, inclusion, and belonging (DEAIB), and devise a comprehensive social media strategic plan and policies. I presented these essential documents to the leadership team, contributing to a unified and purpose-driven company ethos. My dedication to these foundational pieces reflected my commitment to creating a strong and cohesive corporate culture.

My strategic initiatives, including cost-saving measures, significantly reduced un-budgeted expenses by 30%, notably increasing profitability.
