Amy Echelman

Amy Echelman is a seasoned professional with over 19 years of legal recruiting experience, currently serving as the Managing Director at E.P. Dine, Inc., a prominent executive and legal recruiting firm in New York.

In her role as the co-head of E.P. Dine's In-House Division, Amy focuses extensively on in-house searches for top corporations nationwide while also handling recruitment for partner, counsel, and associates at AmLaw 200 firms and specialty boutiques.

Prior to her recruitment career, Amy practiced real estate, land use, and zoning law at boutique law firms in New York City and White Plains, showcasing a diverse legal background.

Amy Echelman's expertise in legal recruitment was acknowledged when she presented at the 2017 National Association for Law Placement event, sharing insights on facilitating the transition of law firm associates to in-house roles in a session titled "Navigating the Next Chapter: Strategies for In House Placement of Law Firm Associates."

Apart from her professional commitments, Amy is actively involved in community organizations and contributes as a Board member of the Chappaqua Summer Scholarship Program, demonstrating her dedication to community service and social impact.

Amy holds a J.D. degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, and a B.A. in Sociology from Washington University in St. Louis, reflecting her strong educational foundation in law and social sciences.
