Amy Baldwin

Amy Baldwin is a Staff Software Engineer, Lead & Manager for SmartHome Ecosystem Features at Google. She has an extensive background in software engineering and has been with Google for several years.12

Career at Google

Amy joined Google full-time in August 2015 after completing two internships with the company:

• Engineering Practicum intern in 2013
• Software Engineering intern in 20141

Currently, she works on home automation for the Google Assistant, specifically leading and managing SmartHome Ecosystem Features.23

Education

Amy graduated from Arizona State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.12 During her time as a student, she was awarded the Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship (now known as the Women Techmakers Scholars Program) in 2014.1

Impact of the Scholarship

The scholarship had a significant impact on Amy's academic career:
