Amith Vijayan

Amith Vijayan is a power system engineer and independent researcher currently working with the Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEBL), a state power utility under the government of Kerala. With a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, Amith started his career in the technology industry in early 2009 as an entrepreneur with his startup in data security and encryption. However, his passion for the electricity industry and its advancement with modern technologies led him to the electricity sector, where he has been working since 2014.

As an engineer in the electrical cadre at KSEBL, Amith has successfully handled various responsibilities related to power systems and energy. He has also been a delegate and expert speaker on several international Power, Energy, and IIoT conferences and events. Amith's expertise extends to guest faculty on power systems and energy in international institutions. He is a former executive volunteer at MRV Foundation and co-founder and lead developer at Innovador. Before entering his current profession, he worked as a freelance web customization and online researcher.
