Amit Parekh is a seasoned associate researcher with a vast experience in the higher education industry. He has worked extensively in Medical Devices and Biomechanics, and is skilled in SolidWorks, LabVIEW, and Java. Parekh holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering with Highest Honors from Georgia Institute of Technology and studied for a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University.
Parekh has served as Orthopedic Surgery Resident Physician at the University of Illinois at Chicago and as a Research Fellow at the University of Illinois Department of Orthopedics. He has also held Research Associate positions at Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University's Center for Comprehensive Informatics.
Additionally, Parekh has instructed as a Physics Instructor at Duke University Talent Identification Program and as a Head Teaching Assistant for Intro to Neuroscience at Georgia Institute of Technology. He has also worked as a Neuroimaging Data Analyst at Emory University.
