Amit Mehta

Amit Mehta is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in entrepreneurship, engineering, sales, and leadership.

Amit holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) with Honors in Nanotechnology Engineering and an option in Entrepreneurship from the University of Waterloo.

He is a versatile individual who has also completed his Ontario Secondary School Diploma with a Certificate in Bilingualism in French & English from Acton District High School.

Amit has a strong affiliation with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, having completed specified training with the Air Cadet League of Canada and served as Chief Warrant Officer First Class (Ret.).

Throughout his career, Amit has held various key roles in prestigious organizations, such as Co-Founder and Partner at Good Company Productions, Senior Launch Engineer and Talent Acquisition at Shopify Plus, Program Manager at Founder Institute, and Advisor with the Board of Directors at the Entrepreneurship Society at UWaterloo.

His experience also includes leadership positions as the President of the Entrepreneurship Society at UWaterloo, City Lead at Sofar Sounds, and Founder of Startup Waterloo and reboot.build.

Amit's technical expertise shines through his roles as a Sales Engineer & Project Manager at HTS Engineering, Lead Engineer at Penta Medical, Inc., and Electrical Engineering Co-op Student at Aspin Kemp and Associates (AKA).

He has a passion for mentorship and community involvement, evident through his contributions as a Student Mentor & Big Brother at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada.
