Amit Kurz

Amit Kurz is a venture capitalist and baseball enthusiast with a multifaceted background. He earned a Bachelor of Laws and Business Administration with a focus on finance from Korea University and The Interdisciplinary Center, respectively. Additionally, he holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and the U.S.-Israel Center on Innovation and Economic Sustainability at the University of California San Diego, where he specialized in Management of Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.

Before joining Sweetwood Ventures as a General Partner, Kurz served as an Advisor at The Nest Family Office and an Associate in High Tech and Venture Capital at Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co. He also worked in various analytical, legislative, managerial, and community relations roles, including as an Analyst at Sweetwood Capital, Data Analyst at Amirim-Financial Audit, Director of Legislation and Deputy Marketing Manager at Knesset and Maccabi Haifa B.C, respectively.

Kurz's passion for baseball distinguishes him in a country where soccer predominates, reflected in his Twitter hashtag, #LFGM, signaling his support for the New York Mets.
