Amit Khan

Amit Kumar Khan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Greenitio, a sustainable materials development company founded in 2021.13 He holds a PhD in Biomaterials Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore.15

Dr. Khan's background includes:

1. Nearly four years of experience in a biotech startup1
2. Lead formulation scientist at a biopharmaceutical startup in Singapore, focusing on drug delivery and vaccines development
3. Scientist at ACM Biolabs Pte Ltd from February 2018 to September 20215

Greenitio, under Dr. Khan's leadership, focuses on developing bio-based, biodegradable alternatives to synthetic polymers and microplastics for various industries, including cosmetics, personal care, food additives, and packaging.14 The company uses computer simulations and green chemistry to design and synthesize these sustainable materials.2

Dr. Khan's educational background is extensive, including:

• Sandwich Master Program in Materials Science & Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt
• M.Tech. in Materials Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur
