Amit Kumar is an experienced Information Security Professional with over 7 years of expertise in Information Security Risk Assessment, Third Party Risk Management, Internal audit, Business continuity process design, and Data Privacy.

Throughout his career, Amit has managed projects for various industries including Banking, Energy, Petroleum, Healthcare, and Technology sectors, helping clients enhance their information security posture by identifying risks, establishing policies, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

His specialties include managing Third-Party Risk Management programs for a diverse range of clients, designing comprehensive solutions in collaboration with senior management, leading Information Security Consulting Assignments, performing various security assessments such as Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, Mobile Application Security assessment, and Infrastructure Risk Assessment.

Amit also has extensive experience in reviewing audit controls and processes based on ISO27001, ISO22301, ISO31000, PCI-DSS, SOC1, SOC2, FFIEC, HIPAA, and SOX, as well as incident handling, digital forensic investigations, real-time event monitoring tools deployment, DLP solutions, malware analysis, and suggesting security improvements to clients.

Amit holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications from Gaya College, Gaya, and a Master of Business Administration from Sikkim Manipal University through Distance Education. He currently works as the Lead of Third Party Risk Management at PDCap Services LLP and has previously been associated with WhiteHatGuru, an Initiative (Non-Profit) organization.
