Amit Kumar Jain

Amit Jain is an expert in applying agile best practices and a proficient manager of technology and business expectations across the globe. With extensive experience in building the technology team from the ground up, Amit has led engineering teams across India, UK, and the USA, delivering complex projects on time without compromising on quality. Currently, Amit operates as a Functional Data Architect, Senior Business Analyst, and IT Development Manager for the Data Squad, in the International Tax Utility (ITU) team. In this role, he has been instrumental in helping to source and analyze data to meet international tax-related obligations while building a generic data sourcing and validation service layer meant to be utilized by all ITU technology systems. With experience as IT Development Manager, Scrum Master, and UI Developer in the International Tax Utility team, Amit has previously led the revamping of the technology solution for Withholding, Reporting and Tax Platform, ultimately winning awards for 'Outstanding Delivery.' He has also operated as a Product Manager and Dev Team Lead while serving as a UI Developer for multiple modules in Merchant Banking and Real Estate Investment Business. Notable achievements include designing and developing end-to-end technology solutions for Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the automated Investment Committee Checklist for Deal Acquisition processes, earning awards for 'Outstanding Delivery' and 'Putting the Client First.'

In Sales and Marketing, Amit drove exceptional ideas by designing and developing various highly interactive analytical tools and websites for sales teams and senior managers, earning him an award for 'Leading with Exceptional Ideas.' He has experience working with a range of different technologies, including but not limited to C#, Winforms, ASP.NET, ReactJS, AngularJS, JavaScript, CSS, R, Adobe Flex, Core Java, HTML, XML, Database, Autosys, and Salesforce. Holding an M. Tech and a BE in Computer Science and Information Technology, respectively, Amit completed his MBA (Online) in Finance and General Business from the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University.
