Amir Badat

Amir Badat is a highly qualified legal professional with a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, Cum Laude, from New York University School of Law. He also holds a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University and has participated in an International Study Abroad program at The American University in Cairo.

Amir Badat has held prominent roles in various prestigious organizations. He currently serves as the Voting Special Counsel and Manager for the Voting Rights Defender and Prepared to Vote Projects at NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. Previously, he was the Senior Counsel for Voter Protection at the Democratic National Committee and held roles as an Associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, Director of Voter Protection at Mike Espy for Senate Campaign, and Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
