Amenity Applewhite is an accomplished leader renowned for her commitment to user-centered design, iterative development, and collaborative efforts across disciplines. With a diverse skillset and a wealth of experience, she excels in creating, managing, and enhancing impactful, sustainable, and user-friendly products. She holds the Certified Scrum Product Owner designation since 2018.

Amenity's educational background is impressive, having studied at various institutions including Miss Porters School, Santa Fe High, the University of Texas at Austin where she completed her BA in Geography and Anthropology with a remarkable 4.0 GPA, and Universitat Jaume I where she pursued a Master of Science in Geospatial Technology. She also received training in design foundations at Parsons School of Design - The New School.

Amenity Applewhite has held significant roles in various organizations, with her most recent position being the Head of Product at Austin Transportation Data and Technology Services within the City of Austin. She has also served as a Product Manager and User Experience Designer within the same department. Prior to this, she has worked in creative and managerial capacities at Anaconda, Inc., University of Texas at Austin, Boundless, Enthought, and other prestigious organizations. Her background includes roles ranging from web development to environmental research and graphic design.
