Amelia Pisapia is a seasoned editor with a rich background spanning over a decade in the realms of media and technology. She holds an Advanced Certificate in Entrepreneurial Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, a Master's of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a Poetry Concentration from St. Joseph's University New York, and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her educational journey began at Fenwick High School.
Throughout her career, Amelia has taken on various roles in prestigious organizations. She has served as the Editor and Manager of Emerging Technology Projects, as well as an R&D Strategist at The New York Times. Additionally, she was a Member at NEW INC, a Tow-Knight Entrepreneurial Journalism Fellow at CUNY's journalism school, the Founder of Mia Media, and the Co-Founder & Editorial Director of Novel at The New Republic. Prior to these roles, she also held positions such as Senior Editorial Strategist at NewsCred, Engage Wisconsin Editor at Wisconsin Public Television, and Communications Intern at Jesuit Refugee Service.
