Amelia LoDolce
Executive Director, VINES
Amelia LoDolce is the Executive Director of Volunteers Improving Neighborhood Environments (VINES), a position she has held since February 2016.1 She was VINES' first Executive Director, joining the organization after being involved as a volunteer and founding board member since 2007.13
Amelia has a Master's degree in Agriculture, Food, and the Environment from Tufts University's Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy.1 Her background includes working for United Way of Broome County on health initiatives and for the City of Binghamton as the Sustainable Development Planner.1
Growing up on a farm in Otisco, NY, Amelia is passionate about creating opportunities for urban residents to grow their own food and connect with the local environment.1 Under her leadership, VINES has expanded its programs, focusing on developing a sustainable and just community food system through urban gardening, youth development, and connecting urban consumers to rural farmers.24
