Amelia Hurt is a seasoned administrator and a dedicated educator, with professional experience in higher education, advising, career and professional development as well as nonprofit management. With a Master's degree from Florida State University and a Bachelor's Degree from Kansas State University, she has held various positions with Oklahoma City University, Chicago Botanic Garden, and Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. Currently serving as the Director of Student Success at Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health, she collaborates with the campus community to provide students with vital career development skills that prepare them for professional and life success. She also acts as an advisor, empowering students with knowledge that helps them form sound career plans. Another facet of her job is liaising with employers, the community, and colleagues at other institutions to establish strong partnerships that broaden the opportunities for the talented students and alumni while strengthening important bonds within the community.
