Amber Houghstow
Amber Houghstow is a Harvard graduate with a talent for entrepreneurship and a passion for international relations. She has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.L.A in International Relations from Harvard Extension School. Her experience includes working as a Director at Peace Rising, Manager at Entrepreneurship Ventures Inc, and Field Director at Committee to Elect Quinton Zondervan. Previously, Amber was a Summer Fellow for Climate Organizing Summer Program at Better Future Project and Project Manager for Mobile Development Research at International Development Innovation Network. Additionally, she worked as an Entrepreneurship Instructor at MIT Global Startup Labs, Mechanical Design Researcher at Salud del Sol, and ESL Tutor for International Phone School.
Amber's passion for working with people extends beyond her professional experience as she has worked as a 2011 Corps Member at Teach for America and as an Adviser on Mechanical Design for Global Cycle Solutions. Currently, she is working on building a global model to help identify locations at risk of climate-induced conflict and amplify the voices of at-risk communities working to address environmental challenges.
