Amartya Mitra

Amartya Mitra is an accomplished Senior Software Engineer with a background in Data Science. He received his Bachelor’s Degree with First Class Honors from Jadavpur University. Mitra's expertise centers on data analytics, decision science, and marketing, which he has gained working in several high-profile positions.

Mitra first worked as a Summer Intern at Hector Beverages Pvt Ltd, where he developed his skills in research and data analytics. He then worked as a Marketing Intern at Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, further honing his skills in marketing. Mitra has also served as a Research Intern at Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a Decision Scientist at Mu Sigma Inc., where he developed expertise in decision-making analytics. Mitra's most recent position was as an Analytics Analyst at Accenture AI, where he expanded his knowledge and skillset, especially as they relate to Machine Learning.

Currently, Mitra works as a Senior Software Engineer (Data Science) at Applied Materials, where he lends his expertise to developing data-driven products based on Machine Learning, data mining, and data analysis. His work includes developing new analytical models and communicating these findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
