Amar Shah is the founder of Client First Capital, a financial advisory platform focused on providing impartial and evidence-based advice to clients for maximizing their financial well-being.

With over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, Amar specializes in estate planning, retirement planning, and risk management to help individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals.

Before establishing Client First Capital, Amar served as a Senior Wealth Manager at USAA for 8 years and held a vice president position in J.P. Morgan's wealth management division in New York City.

Amar holds prestigious designations including Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and adheres to the ethical standards of these certifications.

Born and raised in San Diego, Amar has a strong community spirit, having served as a firefighter for the City of Poway and been actively involved with CFA Society's San Diego Chapter.

An alumnus of the University of California, Riverside, Amar's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering.

Aside from his financial expertise, Amar is passionate about outdoor activities and has participated in various endurance events like Ironman races, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, and completed the Rock 'n' Roll San Diego Marathon.
