Amani Syed

Amani Syed is a South-Asian American woman with a strong background in education, values, and culture, influenced by her 1st generation immigrant family.

As a Senior Intern at Rutgers University's Asian American Cultural Center, Amani demonstrates inclusivity, organizational skills, public speaking, and teamwork, striving to create a close-knit and inclusive environment during events.

Amani is passionate about women's rights, especially concerning South-Asian women facing social and economic challenges tied to cultural pressures and traditions.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Analytics and Information Technology at Rutgers Business School, Amani aims to break barriers in the male-dominated financial sector and empower other women to thrive.

With a solid educational foundation from Old Bridge High School and Rutgers Business School, Amani has gained experience through various roles, including Newsletter Committee Member at BITS, Finance Intern at Amboy Bank, and positions at the Asian American Cultural Center, Primrose Schools, and Kumon North America, Inc.
