Amanda Stevens

Amanda Stevens is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in strategic leadership and governance in both public and private organizations. She holds a master's degree in Law and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's WFL Leadership Program. With a passion for driving positive change, Amanda has worked across various sectors, including health, government, legal, and consulting. Her areas of expertise include leadership, governance, diversity, and performance.

Amanda has held various executive and leadership roles in her career, including Executive Director at the Department of Health and Human Services in Victoria, where she served as COVID-19 Deputy Commander, Enforcement, and Compliance. She has also worked at Fisher Leadership, Greyhound Racing Victoria, City of Melbourne, and the Victorian Building Authority, where she held various interim executive roles. Amanda has also served as a Mayor and Councillor at the City of Port Phillip and chaired the Committee of Management at South Melbourne Market.

As a leadership, governance, and diversity consultant, Amanda has worked with numerous organizations, including the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Leadership Victoria, and Victorian Women Lawyers. She has facilitated and spoken on the Board Orientation Series and Ignite Leadership courses at Leadership Victoria and served on the Corporate Governance Committee at Environment Victoria.
