Amanda Stevens

Amanda Stevens is the Chief Executive Officer of IPAA Victoria, having joined the organization in January 2024. She brings over 20 years of experience in the public purpose sector, with a background as a corporate governance lawyer. Throughout her career, she has held various executive and non-executive leadership roles across federal, state, and local governments, including positions at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Victorian Building Authority. Notably, she also served as the Mayor of the City of Port Phillip for three consecutive years.

In addition to her executive roles, Stevens is an experienced board chair and director, contributing to numerous boards such as the South Melbourne Market and the Australian National Academy of Music, along with various community and not-for-profit organizations.13 Her leadership philosophy emphasizes care and empathy, showcasing her commitment to making a positive impact in the community.2
