Amanda Sabater

Co-founder + Producer + Director of NextRound Productions, Freelance Writer

Amanda Sabater is a multi-talented writer, director, and producer who got her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Film and TV from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She is also a graduate of the New York Film Academy, where she studied Digital Filmmaking, and NYU-Dublin, where she studied Music Video. With over a decade of experience in the media and production industry, Amanda co-founded NextRound Productions in 2013. The full-service video production firm is based in New York City and works with clients such as The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, Time Inc., The Partnership for a Healthier NYC, The Rogosin Institute, Chicken of the Sea, DailyWorth, and SoulCycle.

Amanda has also worked as a freelance director and production manager at various Media & Entertainment organizations, including NYU School of Dentistry, Spiked Media, and New York Film Academy. She has also served as an assistant/ coordinator at Fireshot Productions/Steven Sebring's Studio, where she got to work with John Penotti at GreeneStreet Films. This background has given her significant experience in film production and management.

In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Amanda also has experience in writing and particularly enjoys script writing. She has written for Various and worked as a scriptwriter as a freelancer. Amanda has brought her professional skills and entrepreneurial spirit to NextRound Productions, where she continues to shine and help clients communicate their message through video content.
