Amanda Karlsson

Amanda Karlsson is a seasoned credit specialist with a vast experience of over 12 years in alternative manager selection.

During her time at NEPC as a Senior Research Consultant, she led research on credit-linked hedge funds and opportunistic draw-down vehicles, overseeing due diligence and monitoring of various credit strategies across the US and Europe.

Prior to NEPC, Amanda held roles at Matrix Capital Management, LLC, and Meritage Group LP, focusing on hedge fund manager selection and due diligence.

She is a CFA® Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University.

Amanda's expertise lies in manager selection, holdings, and returns-based analysis, with proficiency in Excel, VBA, Access, Bloomberg, and FactSet.

She has a solid educational background, having studied at Randolph School and earned her B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.
