Amanda K. Johnson

Amanda E. Johnson is a seasoned business professional with a diverse educational background and an impressive tenure in the finance and consumer marketing industries. A graduate of Howard University and Harvard Business School, Amanda currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Underlining, a premium brand studio that focuses on launching and developing innovative brands in the beauty and wellness sectors. She leads the marketing strategy for Underlining's flagship brands, including TatBrow®, Nailboo®, and Hide®. With over 1 million customers since launch, Underlining has earned a reputation as a leader in the beauty industry.

Amanda is also a Co-founder of Mented Cosmetics, a pigment-first beauty brand that celebrates women of all hues. She served as the Chief Operating Officer and Board member for the company before leaving to join Underlining. Throughout her career, Amanda has cultivated a wealth of experience in finance, consumer marketing, and digital strategy.

Amanda is also an enthusiastic entrepreneur and community leader, actively involved in groups like Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., The Junior League of New York, 25 Black Women in Beauty, and the Howard Alumni Association.
