Amanda Chocko

Amanda Chocko is the Director of Entrepreneurship at Lakeshore Advantage, where she oversees the SURGE startup program. Her role focuses on program development and connecting entrepreneurs with essential resources to help them launch and grow successful businesses. Amanda has been a significant figure in the West Michigan startup community for over a decade, previously working at Start Garden, where she contributed to initiatives like 5X5 Night and the Seamless IOT commercialization program. She has also organized multiple Grand Rapids Startup Weekends and has built extensive relationships within startup communities across the state.123

In terms of education, Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing from Davenport University. She is also active in the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem, serving on the board of directors for the International Business Innovation Association.145

Outside of her professional commitments, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in interests related to entrepreneurship, nutrition, and wellness.1
