Amanda Chen

Amanda Chen is a Principal at HarbourVest Partners, based in Hong Kong SAR.2 She joined HarbourVest in 2017 and focuses on sourcing, reviewing, executing, and monitoring primary fund investments in the Asia Pacific region.12

Prior to joining HarbourVest, Amanda worked as a Senior Associate at AlpInvest Partners in Hong Kong from November 2012 to April 2017.2 In this role, she was responsible for sourcing, conducting due diligence, and executing private equity and venture capital fund opportunities in Asia.1

Amanda began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Asia Pacific Industrials Group at Citigroup Global Investment Banking, where she worked from July 2010 to September 2012.2

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from New York University in 2010.12 Amanda is fluent in Mandarin.1

In March 2023, Amanda Chen was promoted to Principal at HarbourVest Partners, recognizing her expertise and contributions to the success of the firm and its clients.3
