Amanda Abel

Amanda Abel is a versatile individual with a background in writing, teaching, editing, and photography.

She holds degrees in Creative Writing, Social Documentation, English, and Photojournalism, all achieved cum laude.

Amanda is known for her innovative thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, commitment to accuracy and journalistic integrity, as well as her friendly demeanor, drive, empathy, and excellent communication abilities.

She has a reputation among students for being challenging yet open, enthusiastic, and fair.

Amanda studied for a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, Poetry at Vanderbilt University, a Master of Arts at the University of California, Santa Cruz, a Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Texas, and also pursued studies in Photography at the Maine College of Art.

In terms of professional experience, Amanda has worked as an English teacher at Kentucky Country Day School and previously operated Amanda Sue Abel Photography.
