Amaan Banwait is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning technology, private equity investing, operations, strategy consulting, and management across Europe, North America, and Africa. Currently, Amaan holds the role of Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer at PurposeMed, focusing on delivering healthcare solutions to underserved communities. Prior to this, he co-founded Ilara Health, a company dedicated to distributing AI-powered diagnostics to primary care doctors in Africa, aiming to provide essential medical tests to millions in rural Africa. Amaan's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School and a BCom in Finance from The University of British Columbia. With expertise in marketing, product development, operations, strategy, and team management, Amaan has held key positions in various organizations, including Frida, Freddie, Werlabs, Trainline, The Abraaj Group, Clinton Foundation, Bain & Company, and One for the World.
