Alyssa Klauer

Alyssa Klauer is a highly skilled artist and educator with a deep passion for painting.

She holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Painting from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting from The Maryland Institute College of Art.

Alyssa has a diverse background in academia and the arts, having served as an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Ulster and Artist Instructor at Studio in a School.

Furthermore, she has held positions like Department Assistant at Cranbrook Academy of Art, Teaching Assistant at The Maryland Institute College of Art, and Artist in Residence at various prestigious institutions including NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development and Chautauqua Institution.

Alyssa Klauer is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of artists and has experience as a Studio Assistant at Amy Sherald Studio, as well as in various internship roles at organizations such as Maryland Art Place Inc, RandallScottProjects, and Vermont Studio Center.
