Alyssa Hollander

Alyssa Hollander is the Associate Manager of the Friends Group at The Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. In her role, she is responsible for managing all administrative functions related to the Friends of The Costume Institute, coordinating member programming and initiatives, and supporting donor stewardship and fundraising efforts. She acts as the primary contact for procurement of goods and services, collaborating with The Met’s Procurement team and external vendors. Additionally, she supervises the Assistant for Administration to ensure smooth daily operations within the department.

Hollander joined The Met in August 2017, initially serving as an Assistant Administrator before her promotion to Associate Manager in July 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Art and Sociology/Anthropology from Lafayette College and a Master of Arts in Visual Arts Administration from New York University.12
