Alyssa Dawson

Alyssa Dawson is the Chief Legal Officer of Gusto, a company with a mission to empower a better life through work. Dawson's professional background includes essential roles at top companies, such as Sidewalk Labs, Harman International, Netflix, and eBay Inc. She also served in several legal positions at various law firms such as Cooley Godward, Latham & Watkins, and Covington & Burling. Dawson studied JD at Georgetown University Law Center and BA at Michigan State University. In addition to her professional endeavors, Alyssa Dawson has been actively involved with non-profit organizations such as BATS Improv. She was a member of the Board of Directors, contributing to the development of theater arts programs. Before pursuing her legal career, she worked as a Copy Reader at Dow Jones and Copy Editor at Gannett. Despite her busy schedule, Dawson has made time to give back to her community and actively participates in philanthropic work.
