Alon Huri

Alon Huri is a seasoned entrepreneur and the Managing Partner at Team8, a venture creation firm based in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is known for co-founding NEXT Insurance, a digital insurer focused on transforming small business insurance, which has successfully raised $1.1 billion to date. Before his role at NEXT Insurance, Huri was part of the founding team of Check, a mobile app that streamlined bill payments, which was acquired by Intuit for $360 million in 2014.12

Huri's career in technology began in 1998, and he has held various significant positions, including Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Check and Senior System Architect at HP. His expertise spans growth hacking, marketing technology, and business intelligence.34 At Team8, Huri is tasked with driving innovation in fintech, focusing on ideation initiatives and developing growth strategies for portfolio companies, while integrating AI technologies into their operations.12
