Alon Halevy

Alon Halevy is a seasoned professional with a strong background in data integration, database systems, and artificial intelligence.

Currently serving as Director at Meta AI, Alon focuses on integrity in online networks, aligning AI with human values, neural databases, affective computing, and personal information management.

Previously, he was the CEO of Megagon Labs, managing a team focusing on research in data management and AI, with a particular emphasis on technology for enhancing users' well-being through AI.

Prior to Megagon, Alon spent a decade at Google, where he led the Structured Data Group in Google Research, contributing to projects like Google Fusion Tables and WebTables search engine.

With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bs.C. in Computer Science and Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Alon also has a rich educational background.
