Allyson Murray

Allyson Murray is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Michigan, studying iron oxide-apatite and porphyry deposits.1 She previously completed her M.S. in geology at Northern Arizona University, where she focused on the application of melt inclusions. Allyson's research interests include igneous petrology and the application of melt and fluid inclusions.2
During her time at Northern Arizona University, Allyson completed a Master's thesis titled "Determining magmatic volatile contributions to the Campanian Ignimbrite, Italy".6 Her academic work also includes research on the petrogenesis and magmatic relationships of Cretaceous Laramide igneous rocks in Southeast Arizona.3
