Allyson Gaarder is an accomplished and driven Sustainability Professional with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and Ecology and Evolution from the University of California, Santa Barbara. With an impressive Major GPA of 3.9, Allyson's academic background showcases her expertise and passion for environmental conservation, education, and outreach.
Throughout her career, Allyson has worked with organizations committed to sustainability and environmental education. She gained experience as an Outreach Coordinator and Senior Dealership Outreach Coordinator at the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE), coordinating events and programs aimed at promoting energy efficiency and conservation. Allyson also worked as an Education Program Aide at San Diego Zoo Global and as an Intern at the Santa Barbara Audubon Society's Eyes in the Sky Program, where she developed and delivered educational programs to the public.
Allyson is a prolific writer and has contributed content as a Content Writer at The American Energy Society. Additionally, she worked as a Project Coordinator for the Alliance to Save Energy - PowerSave Campus Program, where she facilitated energy audits, developed outreach strategies, and coordinated events.
