    Allyson Crawford is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in education and leadership roles in various organizations.

    Allyson pursued her academic journey by earning a Master of Arts in Teaching, Multisubject Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University. Prior to this, she studied Ancient Greek Language and Literature/Latin Language and Literature, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College. Her educational foundation began at Boston Latin School for high school.

    Throughout her career, Allyson held significant positions in several organizations, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to making a positive impact. She served as a fellow at Interdisciplinary Research Leaders and as the CEO of Room to Grow. Additionally, she held the position of Managing Director, External Relations at Citizen Schools New York and Director of Development at Citizen Schools.

    In her volunteer capacity, Allyson served as the Development Director & Treasurer at Kadampa Meditation Center, NYC. She also contributed her expertise as the Program Director, Events & Grant Writer at Physicians' Continuing Education, Corp, and as the Director of Administration at Khandakapala Buddhist Center.

    Allyson's passion for education is evident from her experience as a Second Grade Teacher at Hooper Avenue Elementary School as part of Teach For America Corps and as a Preschool Teacher at Auburndale Community Nursery School.
