Ally Shah

Ally Shah is a highly experienced product designer with a passion for blending research and design in a creative manner.

With a diverse educational background including an MSc in Transpersonal Psychology, MA in Fine Arts, and BFA in Fine Arts, Ally has a strong foundation in both psychology and art that informs their design approach.

Ally has held various senior positions at top organizations such as Esri, Intel Corporation, RS21, and UPMC Enterprises, where they have showcased their skills in product design, strategy, and research.

Additionally, Ally has worked in roles focusing on UX design, creative direction, and visual design at companies like Code and Theory, Primacy, Neo Innovation, and Jigsee, providing them with a wide range of experiences in the design field.

Their dedication to academia is evident through their involvement as an Adjunct Faculty at Carnegie Mellon University and a research scholar with Fulbright/Nehru Educational Foundation.

Ally's creative endeavors extend beyond corporate environments, having co-founded Rule at Thirds Gallery and participated as a Fellow at STUDIO for Creative Inquiry.

Their work is driven by a deep interest in fostering balanced and equitable relationships between individuals and their environment, reflecting a holistic approach to design and human interaction.
