Allison Olmsted is an accomplished Intellectual Property Senior Counsel with over 18 years of practice experience and almost 10 years of in-house experience, providing trademark, copyright, and domain name counseling to multi-national corporations with extensive brand and domain name portfolios. Her background and expertise include managing large global trademark portfolios, delivering clearances opinions, overseeing global trademark prosecution and maintenance matters, managing domestic and foreign enforcement matters, all while providing advice and guidance that supports clients’ business objectives.

Allison has worked with some of the most recognizable brands such as VANGUARD, AOL, THE HUFFINGTON POST, TECHCRUNCH, ENGADGET, MOVIEFONE, MAKERS, AUTOBLOG, ABERCROMBIE & FITCH, TOSHIBA, TOYOTA, SIRIUS/XM RADIO, and AUTOZONE. Her services include advice on and drafting of licenses and intellectual property elements of corporate transactions, trademark diligence, reviewing marketing and advertising materials, domain name strategy, and domain acquisitions, and management of copyright enforcement matters. Allison has a proven track record of exceptional communication and organizational skills, establishing rapport with clients and colleagues, delivering efficient and effective counseling, and working independently and proactively to resolve issues and improve processes.

Allison studied Law at University of Michigan Law School and was awarded a J.D. cum laude. She earned her B.A. in Government from University of Virginia.
