With a diverse educational background including a Green MBA in Sustainable Enterprise, a BA in Asian Studies from the University of Hawaii, and a Bachelor of Education, coupled with experiences as a U.S. Marine Corps war veteran, Allen brings a unique perspective to holistic and equitable education.
Throughout his teaching career in locations such as South Los Angeles, Sacramento, and Victoria BC, Allen emphasizes student-centered learning and celebrates the importance of failure in the growth process.
He has also been a stay-at-home dad, contributing significantly to his two sons' formative years.
Currently, Allen is actively involved in developing a life-affirming learning platform that merges various educational methodologies and organizations, striving to create a resilient, equitable, and regenerative economy through experiential youth-led projects.
