Allen Chia

Allen Chia is a seasoned IT professional with over 20 years of experience in IT management and enterprise architecture, specifically within the financial services, insurance, and telecommunications industry. He holds an undergraduate degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, General from National Chung Hsing University and earned a Master's degree in International Relations and American Studies at Tamkang University. His extensive experience has seen him fill leadership roles, including Head of Technology Services at Prudential Financial, Chief Enterprise Architect at Huawei Technologies, Chief IT Architect at IBM's China Development Laboratory, and Senior Manager for Banking and Financial Services APAC ASA at Oracle.

Allen is passionate about enterprise digital transformation, enterprise architecture strategy, service-oriented integration, and IT optimization. He has experience leading business and IT strategy formulation activities and is well-versed with BPR, information and application integration, technology innovation, and IT operations. Throughout his career, he has gained hands-on technical expertise in various domains, including e-Commerce, ERP, CRM, FSS Core Systems, ESB, Business Analytics, DW/DM/BI, IdM, and Unified Communications. Furthermore, Allen has worked in different regions, including Asia Pacific, Greater China, Europe, and the US.
