Alla Sorokina

Alla Sorokina is a seasoned economist and data analyst, with over a decade of research and consulting under her belt. She holds a PhD in regional economy from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) and an MBA in renewables, market research, and analytics from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Additionally, she has pursued further education in data mining and big data analysis at UC Berkeley School of Information and the Department of Statistics.

Sorokina has held leadership and consulting positions at organizations such as Badger Meter, Trash Tracker Inc, The World Bank Group, and the Association of Innovative Regions. She has also served as a part-time consultant and associate professor at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and the Government University - Higher School of Economics, respectively.

Her expertise covers a wide range of fields, including economics, statistics, data analysis, and regional development. She is passionate about applying rigorous data analysis to advance innovation and promotes the use of technology for sustainable solutions.
